Kerrie Flanagan Selected as 2015 Superwoman
Each year Mind+Body magazine honors 40 "Superwomen" in Fort Collins who are dedicated to making the community a better place. Over 120 entries were received and Kerrie was chosen as one of the 40 women receiving this honor for 2015. The person who nominated her had this to say:

She began Northern Colorado Writers in 2006 and has kept the momentum strong, listening to her members and offering innovative resources that empower writers in both craft and business. She pays close attention to trends and is always offering new opportunities to learn and grow. Plus, she's warm and friendly and a dynamic speaker, and a true leader in our community."
Kerrie Flanagan Selected as Woman of Vision Honoree
Colorado Women of Influence announced the recipients of the 2011 Women of Vision Awards. Honorees were determined to have made a contribution to the well-being and empowerment of women and the betterment of their communities through outstanding innovation, leadership, and social Impact.
The Honorees were recognized at the Women of Vision Gala on Wednesday, July 20th at the Ft. Collins Hilton. Among the twelve chosen was Kerrie Flanagan, freelance writer and founder of Northern Colorado Writers. Kerrie was selected from over 60 nominations because of her dedication to encourage and support writers of all levels and genres. The Northern Colorado Writers Conference, in its 6th year, exemplifies Kerrie’s dedication to bring resources to those who aspire to write.
